It's the beginning of a new era. Still one Bentley and one Mercedes but the new generations are coming. The favorites are Bugatti and Alfa Romeo and in the smaller class Aston Martin arrived with a strong work team. The accident of the Bugatti driven by Rost led the two remaining cars to retire leaving the victory to Alfa Romeo. The Mercedes finished second and a Talbot complete the podium.
